Clear vinyl fabric is unbacked PVC sheeting, clear or tinted, for patio and boat enclosures, table protectors, clear bags and strip curtains. Tell us the gauge, the clarity grade and the lowest temperature it has to handle.

- Gauge or thickness (mm)
- Gauge is thousandths of an inch: 20 gauge is about 0.5 mm, 30 gauge about 0.75 mm, 40 gauge about 1 mm. Enclosures use 20 to 40 gauge.
- Clarity grade
- Standard clear has a slight haze. Polished or optical grades see through like glass, for windows you look through every day.
- Tint
- Clear, smoke, bronze or a color. A tint cuts glare and heat in sun-facing enclosures.
- Cold crack
- Clear vinyl stiffens in the cold. Enclosures you roll up in winter need a low cold-crack rating.
- UV resistance
- UV inhibitors slow the yellowing of windows that face the sun.
